Vegetable Gardening Workshop To Be Offered
Want to grow your own food in your own vegetable garden, but not quite sure where to start? Nebraska Extension Educators will be teaching evening workshops to help gardeners and homeowners learn the basics of vegetable gardening including: site selection, gardening methods including container gardening, common garden pests and diseases, landscaping with vegetables, produce safety practices, and much more.

Preregistration is requested to ensure enough educational material for workshop participants. There is a $5 charge per workshop participant due on the day of the program to help offset costs. Please reserve a place at one of these workshops by calling the Nebraska Extension Office in Hall County at (308) 385-5088 or by sending an e-mail message to Elizabeth Killinger, Extension Educator, at firstname.lastname@example.org, at least one week prior to the program you select to attend.
